Nainital Tourism

Nainital is a picturesque hill resort in Uttarakhand, situated in the foothills of the Kumaon highlands. It is the most visited hill station in North India, located near Dehradun and Delhi. Nainital is a great weekend escape from Delhi and the surrounding areas.

Nainital has a wonderful year-round temperature, making it a favourite hill station for families, couples, and even lone travellers. It is easily accessible by car from adjacent major cities and is suitable for a two-day stay. The Naina Lake is located in the heart of Nainital, with Mall Road on one side, Thandi Sadak on the other, and the bus stop directly across the street.

Nainital is brimming with exquisite colonial architecture that emphasise the attractiveness of this region. It was founded by the British because of its likeness to the Cumbrian Lake District. Some minor hill settlements around Nainital, such as Pangot, Ranikhet, and Almora, are relatively unknown. There are also several short walking paths in Nainital.

Nainital is guaranteed to create an impression on you, whether you wish to go boating on the gorgeous Naini Lake, eat some Garhwali and Kumaoni cuisines, shop for souvenirs, or take a ropeway trip to Snow View Point to take in the Himalayan splendour.
