9 Vegan Food Spots To Check Out In Delhi
Delhi can be a bit tricky when it comes to vegan food, and if you thought that it’s next to impossible to find great vegan restaurants or cafes, we’re here to turn that thought around.
Here are our favourite restaurants which incorporate delish vegan food in their usual menus while others are fully championing veganism or vegetarianism. So, if you are looking for your next brekkie run stop or dinner hang where you don’t have to bring out a magnifying glass to find vegan food options, here are the best vegan food spots in Delhi
Perch Wine & Coffee Bar
Perch is one of our favourite places to chill at in the city. With the smell of fresh coffee lingering in the air, and the pretty seating on the terrace, we couldn’t really ask for more. Their menu is really comprehensive and they have quite a few options that are dairy-free so your meal will be sorted here.
Must-Try: Wild Mushroom Tacos, Avocado Tartate and Vegan Dark Chocolate Ganache

Greenr Cafe
Greenr has to be the one restaurant that has probably the most number of vegan options on the menu with some interesting options like sushi, ramen and salad pizza. Even if there are things on their menu that aren’t vegan originally (like pizza), they offer vegan alternatives for an extra charge. Their Baja Black Bean Nachos are our favourite binge meal and deserve to be ordered every time you visit.
Must-Try: Baja Black Bean Nachos, Artichoke Basil Tempura Sushi, Oska BBQ Tofu Ramen and Mushroom Pesto Arugula Pizza

Burma Burma
Burma Burma is the one restaurant that has an entirely vegetarian menu so vegan options are aplenty. And the food is so good that you’ll legit forget about your chicken tikkas and mutton biryanis for some time. They also serve great bubble tea, which is actually one of the many reasons we keep going back to this restaurant.
Must-Try: Raw Mango Salad, Grilled Mock Meat Skewers, Lotus Stem Crisps, Oh No Khowsuey and Tagu Piyan

Getafix
Those who love eating healthy swear by the food at Getafix, and no healthy menu is complete without vegan options. They offer vegan substitutes for their (delicious) smoothies, and the staff even makes a conscious efforts to reduce the waste as much as possible (probably why you won’t be given straws at this restaurant). Also, this is one of the few places doing zucchini noodles right so consider ordering a serving when you visit.

Canvas V brings a fresh spin to plant-based dining with its focus on elevated plates using fresh produce and cooking techniques. The earthy space is welcoming and perfect for a fine-dining experience where you don’t have to yearn for vegan options. Look out for killer snackable stuff Shakarakand Ki Chaat, Kimchi Eggplant and Achaari Jackfruit Focaccia Sandwich. Omo is another gem taking plant-based dining to new heights in Delhi NCR. Their only motive is to highlight the best of the season with freshest local ingredients and experimental recipes. You can easily spot dairy-free options on the menu too that are equal pats comforting and yummy. Their Pineapple Salsa lives rent-free in our hearts but don’t be too stuck on something since their menu keeps getting upgraded every month with newer additions (yay).

Kiara Soul Kitchen
Kiara Soul Kitchen’s vast menu has it all for vegans! Doesn’t matter if you are craving a desi manchow soup or soul=-warming Thai curry, they have all your cravings covered with their menu that goes beyond just salads. Their Dal Vada With Cherry Tomato Chutney always hits the mark. Also, we love how the place has options for Jain food, free from onion and garlic too!

Agama Cafe is a fairly recent entry in Delhi’s vegan food scene but one that doesn’t disappoint. Agama means ‘tradition’ in Sanskrit which is very in line with the cafe that’s dedicated to honouring and celebrating the earth since it’s a farmer’s experiential café. The food is fresh, delicious and satiates the worst of cravings with a healthy spin. Additionally, they always have some or the other workshop or live music nights lined up to make your outing more fun.
Must-Try: Aubergine Lasagna, Black Rice Burrito Bowl, Avocado Fritters, Watermelon and Basil Cooler

Eleved’s inspired by Vedic wisdom and offer a unique and healthy food menu that is Ayurveda-centric. Their selling point is the impactful use of local and regional produce, and packaging them with an international flair and profile. You will spot some fun vegan options in their menu like Ragi Pani Puri (a personal favourite), Robata Grilled Broccoli With Curried Coconut Nage, Kerala Vegtable Stew With Neer Dosa Crepes, Buckwheat Coated Potato Fries that pair beautifully with their Heirloom Hummus (which can be requested to be made vegan).
