Crew’s Beauty Empties From The Month Of March 2025

By now, you know the drill and we hope we don’t need to re-introduce to this monthly special of ours where we ask the LBB crew to unload all the beauty products they emptied last month. Every month, this writer notices a pattern in the crews’ empties— skincare that’s apt for changing weathers, lippies that scream band baja baraat, haircare products that brave transitioning weathers, and so on. But to my surprise, this month’s dump feels like the crew has lived and tried a variety of products across categories, which only means more honest reviews for you!

Here’s what the crew tried and loved last month:

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre

‘I absolutely love the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré! It’s incredibly hydrating and leaves my skin feeling smooth and nourished. Perfect as a moisturiser or primer, I would definitely buy it again!’

Earth Rhythm Aqua Surge Cooling Broad Spectrum Sunscreen Spray

‘With summers in full swing, the Earth Rhythm Aqua Surge Sunscreen Spray has become my go-to! It’s incredibly cooling and soothing, making it perfect for hot days. Already on my second bottle— it’s definitely worth it. I’ll be restocking again for sure!’

Foxtale Valley Of Flowers Eau De Parfum

‘The purple glass bottle and super cute box packaging is what drew me to it first, but I have emptied this vial of perfume simply because it smells so naturally flora and lux. With notes of jasmine sambac, pear, green mandarin, and Madagascar vanilla, this perfume is like walking through a garden.

ClayCo Rice & Ceramide Moisturiser

‘Never knew a moisturiser could be as addictive as this one. Clayco’s cute, dome-like packaged moisturiser with exosomes, vitamin B12, and cica is a staple part of my skincare. It uses Japanese technology and natural ingredients to brighten the skin, helps with pores, and firms the collagen, all while being smooth, gliding like butter. It is the perfect first layer, before you apply your sunscreen.

52 Sundaze SPF 50 Rosewater Mist

The SPF50 Clear Glow Mist has become an absolute essential for me! It’s lightweight, refreshing, and gives my skin the perfect dewy glow without any greasy or sticky feel. I love how easy it is to reapply throughout the day, even over makeup, without messing anything up. The rosewater makes it feel extra soothing and luxurious, which is such a nice bonus. No white cast, no heaviness—just effortless, everyday sun protection that actually feels good on my skin.’

SkinInspired Hydration Shots

‘I’ve been using Skininspired’s Hydration Shots – 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum for a few months, and it’s been a game-changer. It provides intense hydration, improves skin elasticity, and has visibly reduced fine lines and wrinkles. My skin feels plump, smooth, and radiant. It’s a must-have for anyone seeking deep hydration and glow.’

Inde Wild Champi Hair Oil

‘Inde Wild Champi Oil has quickly become my favourite. Since it is relatively expensive, I was a little hesitant, but right after the first use, I could tell it’s definitely worth every penny. The best part is that the oil is natural, with a rather nostalgic fragrance to it;  transporting you straight to your childhood days. Even the efficacy is amazing; I finally said bye to all the frizziness!’

L’Oréal Paris Hyaluron Pure 72H Purifying Shampoo

I finally gave the L’Oréal Paris Hyaluron Pure 72H Purifying Shampoo a go after being hounded by it’s ads online. The reason that lured me into giving this one a shot was that it’s specifically formulated with salicylic acid to help cleanse your oily scalp (which I have) and hyaluronic acid for keeping the ends hydrated. Half way through the bottle, I have realised that it does meet the former claims but lacks a bit in the latter so you might wanna use a hair mask for your ends. Not very clear whether I will be restocking it or not.’

Swiss Beauty Makeup Buddy Beauty Blender

Not an empty but a beauty essential that definitely needs a replacement in my vanity. I bought the Swiss Beauty Makeup Buddy Beauty Blender on a whim and was thoroughly impressed from the performance of this beauty sponge. It’s extremely soft and squishy, blends your liquid makeup products quite well without over-absorbing ’em and is pocket-friendly too!’
